– Founder & Chair

A registered social worker with a Master’s degree and over 15 years of experience, Mercy has dedicated her career to supporting vulnerable individuals and families across the UK. She is a passionate advocate for social justice, especially for migrant communities, carers, and women navigating complex systems. Mercy’s leadership is grounded in both professional knowledge and lived experience as a carer to a child with special needs, she knows firsthand the power of dignified, culturally informed support. Her vision and voice continue to shape Misaada for You into a beacon of hope and empowerment. “I founded this charity because I’ve lived the struggle and I believe in helping people rise through compassion, not judgment.”

Ruke Amuka

– Trustee, Safeguarding Lead

Ruke is a qualified mental health nurse with over 6 years of experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). Her frontline work gives her a unique insight into the emotional and psychological needs of young people and families in crisis. She leads our safeguarding framework with professional precision and emotional intelligence, ensuring that everyone who engages with Misaada for You feels safe, respected, and protected. “Safeguarding is not just a policy, it’s about creating spaces where people are truly seen and heard.”

Chioma Ebele Nduaguibe

– Trustee, Operations

Chioma is a homelessness support worker with over 10 years of experience in the housing sector. She has worked closely with local authorities, temporary accommodations, and at-risk individuals, building pathways from instability to security. At Misaada for You, Chioma oversees the operational delivery of our services, ensuring that support is effective, timely, and tailored to the needs of those we serve. “Housing is a human right. My role is to make sure our charity doesn’t just offer services but also offer solutions.”

Tina Oluchi Ogualaji

Tina is an assistant nurse in an NHS acute ward, where she supports patients with complex health and emotional needs. With over 6 years of NHS experience, Tina brings empathy, resilience, and deep understanding to her role on the board. She leads on community engagement and fundraising, building relationships with partners, donors, and the public to ensure our mission thrives. “Every pound raised is a step toward empowerment.
